Scheduled executions

Your help is needed. Troy Davis is scheduled for execution on Sept. 21, in Georgia and Duane Buck is sheduled for execution today Sept. 15, in Texas. Please contact The Georgia Pardon and Parole Board [phone]and ask they rule not to execute Mr. Davis. Ask the District Attorney Larry Chisolem of Chatam County to withdraw the warrent. (. There is evidence that proves Mr. Davis is not guilty, and 7 of the 9 witnesses have recanted. There is no physical evidence linking Mr. Davis to the crime. There is more than reasonable doubt.

Contact Lt. Governor David DeWhurst of Texas [phone], and ask that Mr. Buck be given a new trial. Testamony was allowed that Mr. Buck would be a danger in the future because he is African American. This testamony was allowed in 5 other cases, and the courts granted new trials because of it. Mr. Buck did not receive this consideration. The deceased victims family members and the surviving victim have forgiven Mr. Buck, and Mr. Buck is remorseful and deeply regrets what he did while under the influence of alcohl and other drugs.
