Legal assistance needed

If you or someone you know can assist us by reviewing some cases to see if there is any thing available to the individuals who are incarcerated I would be most grateful. The back ground work has been done. There are facts that were not entered into the court proceedings. We have spoken with the Prosecutors office and the State Attorney General. They are not interested. If there is anyone that can assist us please let me know. We are volunteers but we are not attorneys. Thanks, Ester L.…See More

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which is working to crackdown on hiring policies that can hurt blacks and Hispanics, said Wednesday that the company's policy of not hiring workers with arrest records disproportionately excluded more than 300 black applicants. The policy barred…See More

Debtors Prisons

Although debtors prisons have been illegal sinse the 1800's, several States are engaged in arrest of persons who for various reasons cannot pay a bill. This has happened in Kansas City, Missouri. If you are experiencing problems because of loss of job, high medical bills etc. you may want to contact a legal service, and talk with someone about your situation. Hopefully there will not be any issues to deal with, but seek assistance if you feel you need to.
