This was a very successful event and I want to congratulate Mr. Brooks, Mrs. Livingston and Ms. Janay Releford, and all others who made this event successful. Ms. Brown did an out standing job. She spoke at U.M.K.C. and Penn Valley, also a youth detention center and an adult detention center. The final event was held at St Monica's church. The Heartland's men's chorus Ambassadors, blessed us with the singing of music that was very much in keeping with the over all events. I love the Negro Spirituals and this group does them with style, and from the heart. Mrs. Brown spoke with the spirit of conviction and told her story as only she can. Those who heard her expressed gratitude and asked many questions as time allowed. Hopefully some of us will travel to Dallas in November to celebrate her 20 year release. To all who supported this event or helped in any way, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
