The Missouri Black caucus will present a community forum, February 16, 2013, at the MoHart Center, 3200 Wayne, Kansas City, Missouri, 10:00 A.M. Discussion and presentation will focus on the state of black America in the state of Missouri. Free and open to the public.

Feb. 24, Kansas City chapter of NAACP will present their black history program at the Bruce R. Watkins cultural center. A special recognition will honor a great lady, Mrs. Julia Hill. Mrs. Hill is a well known activist with over 60 years dedicated to the NAACP and the betterment of the community. The program begins at 3:00 P.M.

G.Y.R.L. presents "I'm still standing. February 10, 2013, 42nd and Prospect at the church on the corner. Park at side of building or behind building. Open to the public. 6:00 P.M.
