It is with a deeply heavy heart that I post the notice of the passing of a friend and fellow soldier for justice, Alvin Kirksey-Bey. Alvin served 25 years in the Department of Corrections for a crime he did not committ. Alvin's example of life after unjust incarceration is an example of the power of the Spirit and human will to survice and thrive. Alvin set an example to be admired as he went about his work of continuing to fight for equal justice under the law. He will be missed by his KKFI family and the activist who worked with him, met with him and talked with him. He will be missed.
