Family Resource Center and Reading Room

Renovation continues at the property for the Family Resource Center and Reading Room. Painting has been done, trim work is about finished. Strawberry wishing well has been built, gutters and down spouts are in place. Kitchen, bathroom, pantry, and back porch is being done. Trash has been hauled, bushes cut and hauled. Utilities are on. Butterfly garden will be in place soon, ready for butterfly plants in the spring. Monarchs need a little help so we will plant milk weed and other plants to help attract the bees and butterflys. Raised beds will be in place ready for planting in the spring. I saw a few bees on the honey suckle plants, and a neighbor who has a humming bird feeder had quiet a few humming birds hanging out.  Progress is being made. Turning a negative into a positive thanks to volunteers and others who have contributed to this effort. CSWS does not utilize any public funding. All funding except for the funds provided through the efforts of the Community Development Fund and the Board of Directors, come from private donars. Our thanks to all who have helped in any way. You are appreciated. We are trying for a November opening.
